Carisbrook Motel

The lady in arrival was very helpful and being able to use the laundry was a bonus. Also the small kitchen which came in really handy. Only small (we were 3 adults), 2 single beds in the lounge and a queen in the bedroom. The two no recliners were comfy and my brother used a single thing to be able use Netflix on the tv. We did find this in a lot of the motels that we needed a thingy to be able to access our apps. Not a major though. Also great Chinese (looks dodgy) but was great! Tip… cash only. We also had a good meal at the Waterloo hotel (walking distance) not flash but great staff and we enjoyed our very reasonably priced meals. Also two very cute dogs waiting for their owner to come home across the road. We could see them in the window 😂

An excellent hideaway, from the hassle and bustle of the City, with off street parking outside your room, situated below road level, made the area very quiet, two separate rooms one bedroom and combined lounge with extra beds with kitchen and bathroom adjoined, all kitchen facilities well maintained, and stocked., a great home away from home.

Super apartment in a quiet part of South Dunedin. Easy to get from here to anywhere in town/on the peninsula by car. Loads of room, great cooking facilities, really comfy beds, good shower, everything super clean and tidy. We loved our 3 night stay at Carisbrook Motel, and felt we could come and go from early morning to late at night without disturbing anyone. The apartment is routinely cleaned and towels/kitchen cloths are replaced on a daily basis, so make sure you let Mike & Ros know if you don't need this service! Excellent value for money.

Spacious and clean room with comfortable beds. Kitchenette is well equipped but the electric kettle needs to be cleaned. Also a sponge should be provided for cleaning of kitchen utensils and crockery Free use of laundry facilities is much appreciated as well Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay

The location was central. There was a lot of space, a full kitchen with oven and bathroom with separate toilet room. Like a 2 bedroom flat. It was very cheap for what it provides.
